I am a Professional mobile DJ, and also do karaoke. I love the fact I can easily hook up more of my TC-Helicon MP70's for people to use to sing, for not a lot of money. The build quality is great. The knobs are quality, and don't feel cheap at all. Before I could only use two microphones due to my DJ mixer. But now, I can use 8 total (if needed). This is my first Nady product, and I am very impressed so far. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to add additional mics or any form of lines to mix.
Nice Sound

The RMX 6 provides 3 standard inputs XLR and 1/4 inch phono jacks. The other three inputs are phantom powered. This configuration works well with most applications. However, as in my case, I am using this unit as a premix for my in-ears from the board sends... So the three phantom powered inputs are not needed and may even cause damage to your mixing board if used in my application. I had to alter three cables using XLR to 1/4 phono (mono) transformers to bypass this feature of the three phantom powered inputs. Hence my 4 star rating. Other than that, the unit is robust and provides lots of headroom for my on stage (in-ear) mix.
Worth the investment...

Very impressed overall with this unit. Would recommend to anyone looking for a economical single rack mount unit. Does not have individual EQ's for each channel, but I think overall produces a clean sound.

Could this be used for a six person podcast. We would all be using microphones and headphones. Is it compatible with a Mac and garage band?
