Guitars are works of art, so why not display them as such on occasion, or even all the time? This quality MuzicLight wall hanger for guitar fits common electric and acoustic necks, and is equipped with soft, non-marring foam around the yoke to protect your headstock.

The MuzicLight wall hanger is affixed to a handsome wood block that mounts to your wall. A mounting kit is included. Once you set the guitar into the yoke, the downward pressure from the guitar's weight triggers a switch that shines a beautiful, warm white color onto your instrument.

Looks cool hopefully it holds my guitar without issue. It is definitely all plastic with the exception of the shaft on the hanger.

  • I would buy this product again!

If you already hang instruments, either to make them easy to get to for your own use, or in a studio (home or otherwise); or if you use a mix of floor stands and wall mounts in a practice space (or garage)... adding one or two of these is pretty useful. First, it provides a sort of 'night light' when you're in a rush or popping your head in an otherwise unlit area... or someone else is who doesn't know where the main overhead light switch is located. Second, if you're like my droogs and I, the space under the wall mounts is where we throw gig bags, cases, or etc. and so it's often cluttered. When that happens, this provides as much light as an iPhone or a penlight. Third, it provides enough light to identify a specific instrument. Fourth... let's face it, while we might think it obvious that our instruments are works of art, our wives and girlfriends are less certain... with this wall mount, we're given a bit more leeway in terms of placement than we might otherwise.

Why in the world would they not put a simple ON/OFF switch on the darn thing?! I'd buy several of these if they would add an ON/OFF switch. Seems like a giant oversight for whoever designed this. Otherwise l seriously would buy many of them.
YO! ADD A SWITCH!

I can't believe no one has ask these questions yet?
1) What kind and how many batteries does it require?
2) How long do the batteries last on avg.? (assuming a guitar is hung on it say 90% of the time)
Thanks!

It takes 2 AA batteries, and the battery life is 100 hours before dimming.

Not while holding a guitar. The only way to turn it off that way would be to remove the battery.

There isn't a way to turn it off without taking out the batteries. The lights activate when there is weight on the supports.
