I bought 2 cables, a 20ft and a 10ft. I thought, "oh wow these are so cheap, and look much better than the ones I have" and yes they were better, but they didn't last nearly as long! I got these about 4 months ago, 4 MONTHS AGO and the 20ft cable went out on me. Now the 10ft cable is going out too. So I decided to see if I could fix it, and I pulled down the sleeve, unscrewed the metal tube and guess what! IT DOESN'T COME OFF! Idk, maybe if you get it you might handle it better but I have been known to handle my belongings very well, I have never even used any warranties or returned anything unless it was defective, or I didn't want it anymore. These are cables, they come with no warranty, and they are cheap, so if you are planning on buying them, make sure to get the 10ft because a 20ft is a waste of money and make sure that these chords are only temporary. These aren't for going to gigs, performances or whatever, they are strictly for practice and maybe recording(home recording). I would not suggest these cables to you if you want to be on stage or in the studio, only at home or on the computer. If you're wondering about sound quality, well it's as good as it gets, I haven't had much experience in cables and sound quality, but from what I know, the higher the price=same sound quality, however, the higher the price=better product quality. In other words, spend that extra $10 on a cable for better or spend less to get the same. Another peculiar thing, I didn't receive a box or anything that said "MusiciansGear" on it, the cables have "AXL" on them. I looked up AXL and it is another company that makes guitars and amps, but the brand AXL is no where to be found on GC.
Cancer Warning

The cable functions very well, however, it comes with a warning attached to it that says there is a chemical used to make it which is considered by the state of California to lead to reproductive problems. It comes as quite a surprise when you open the box.

Nice cord for the budget conscious. So far, decently constructed for the price.
