Protection for your treasure

A classic guitar case; everything you would expect for durable, lockable protection of a treasured guitar. I bought it for my 12 string acoustic electric because it was just long enough to get the larger headstock in. Shiney brass latches keep the case closed tight; one has a keyed lock. Textured hard shell resists bumps & scruffs while at home and when traveling to or from gigs and the studio. The short pile interior is dense and holds my guitar snugly in place without any big gaps. One side of the covered storage compartment cradles the guitar neck and the compartment is generous enough inside to securely hold extra sets of strings, a pro-winder, capo, & batteries. Whether your instrument is new or lovingly used it makes sense to keep it in top shape with this quality case.

A nice case for the price

A very nice acoustic guitar case for the price. A dreadnought fits nicely, but not snuggly. Good enough for minimal protection. fasteners are not tight. The pic of the tweed case appears to have an arched top and assumed the black case would be same. Arched top would improve protection. This is NOT so. Black case is not arched. So, this case is nice, and functional for minimal protection. Especially appropriate for the price. If you're looking for good protection, get a better, more expensive case.

I bought it for my Ibanez AW-10E but was pleased to discover it fit more than just that ... like getting 3 cases in one. Great quality and very happy with the purchase

It went on sale so I opted for the tweed. Pleasantly impressed at the quality and fit, a third less than most others.

Nice case for the price. Very. well padded and an Epiphone Humingbird Pro fits snuggly . The lock isn't the best but is functional.

Does it fit a Yamaha transacoustic?

Does it fit a Yamaha transacoustic?

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
The Yamaha TransAcoustic guitars (like the LL-TA, FG-TA, FS-TA, etc.) typically follow either dreadnought or concert body styles, depending on the model. Here's a quick compatibility check: Fits (Confirmed Dreadnought Body): FG-TA: Dreadnought style — Yes, it fits. LL-TA: Jumbo size — Tight fit or might not fit comfortably; better with a jumbo case. Might Not Fit or Be Too Loose: FS-TA: Smaller concert body — it will fit loosely; you may need to pad it to avoid shifting. CSF-TA: Parlor-size body — too small; case is oversized for this model. Recommendation: If your Yamaha TransAcoustic is a FG-TA, the Musician’s Gear Deluxe Dreadnought Case is a good fit. If your guitar is jumbo, concert, or parlor-sized, consider a case made specifically for that body style to ensure better protection and fit.

Yes, the Musician’s Gear Deluxe Dreadnought Case should comfortably fit your Fender FA-115. The case is actually slightly oversized, which is typical for generic dreadnought cases.

Will this fit a yamaha FG700? And will it be safe for international travel? Ty

Will this fit a yamaha FG700? And will it be safe for international travel? Ty

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
Yes, it should physically fit in the case in terms of shape and dimensions. However, this case is not ideal for international travel, especially air travel. It’s a standard hardshell case, not a flight case. Lacks the rugged protection and internal padding needed to handle rough baggage handling. No TSA-approved locks. Vulnerable to temperature and humidity shifts unless hand-carried.
