The Humilele from Music Nomad is a ukulele humidifier that keeps ukulele wood from warping, shrinking or cracking due to lack of moisture. When you want to check the Humilele, all you have to do is pop the top, touch the Humid-i-Bar. If it's wet, leave it. If it's dry, it's time to rehydrate. Rehydrating is a cinch too. Simply remove the Humid-i-Bar sponge, soak it in distilled water and you're back in action. Easy, no mess and low maintenance.

    Easy to use, fits nicely between strings so the instrument can be hung on stand or wall hook. Easy to check to see if sponge needs to be re-filled. Very good for the price.

    Great product! I would but not hesitate to but this. Even in a hard case I could tell my ukes were being affected by lack of humidity and losing sound quality. It's easy to find humidifiers for our cellos and violins and viola. I had resorted to taking it into the bathroom after a steamy shower. I HOPE that Musicians Friend but this as an option suggestion when buying a uke.

    Where I live (SLC), winters get really dry. I have the guitar versions of this product in all 5 of my instruments, so it was a no-brained that I purchase this for my uks… it's pretty much a great product to protect one's precious instruments!!
