How to Humidify a Guitar Case (Electric & Acoustic Guitar Humidifier)

Music Nomad

collapse expand iconDescription

The Music Nomad Case Humitar is an instrument case humidifier to keep stringed instruments from warping, shrinking or cracking due to lack of moisture. This easy-to-use, no-mess and low maintenance humidifier safely releases moisture evenly to eliminate these potential problems. Works great for acoustic guitars, electric guitars, semi hollow guitars, mandolins, cellos and other large case instruments. The innovative Humid-i-Bar sponge holds a lot more water than our competition. This means less monitoring on your end while resting assured your fine instrument is being cared for.

To check the Humitar, just pop the top and touch the insert. If it's wet, leave it. If it's dry, it's time to rehydrate. Rehydrating is a cinch, too. Simply remove the Humid-i-Bar sponge, soak it in distilled water and you're back in action.

Decent Humidifier

This humidifier is functioning and easy to use, and its components are thick and solid, and not likely to break. The holster makes it capable for any guitar: solid body, semi-solid body, and acoustic, because it can be tightly attached to a case. However, the attachment is not reusable. Once it is attached, you need to replace the glue pad, which is not sold by them.

A Simple solution.

Simple to use, inexpensive, but no way to monitor it's effectiveness. Have to check the sponge frequently in dry weather.
