Worked As I Hoped It Would

I purchased this guitar polish to clean my electric guitar's frets. I can't use the fret frine do to the finish on my fretboard. It worked to perfection and I got the same results as with the frine! I also used it on all of my hardware on my electric and now it has a nice shine! There is only a little spot on my cable Jack and a little spot on plate holding neck on that didn't fully come off but they were oxidated a LONG time so can't really blame the product. I assume 1 or 2 coats can finish getting it off, hopefully! Over all I would recommend this to anyone needing their hardware clean, also for frets where there is a finish on fretboard!

Be careful it isn''t good for the whole guitar

This was a mess. I got this at Guitar Center to polish a new guitar I purchased It did a pretty good job on the body. I checked out the video and it said it was gentle on all surfaces. However my polishing finishing cloth I used to wipe my guitar neck real quick. This cause it to have a shine that I did not want. It is not gentle on all surfaces. I will mess up your neck or anything else it gets on. When trying to wipe if off, you end up applying it to whatever it gets on. I am very upset. I love my guitars, so this was extremely upsetting.

Hoping this adds the next level of protection to my instruments. Need to buff it out before it dries and it dries quickly so do small sections at a time. Even then it is surprisingly difficult to buff out. Nice results though.

  • Good stuff.

I have used many brands of guitar polishes over the years and found either they polished well but left behind a greasy streak or they didn't do the job very well. MusicNomad is different. It truly does polish a guitar and also doesn't leave an oily residue behind. I originally purchased this to buff out some chrome humbucker pick ups. While MusicNomad did that well, I was surprised at how well it worked on the body of the guitar as well. Dark colors are always tough to polish without leaving behind streaks, but MusicNomad managed to do it. This polish isn't cheap, but as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Easy to apply and rub off polish. Reasonable price. Works great on both electric guitar finishes and guitar hardware.

I'm glad I took a chance on this product. It really makes all the sweaty finger prints and the armrest sweat come off completely and leaves the surface a lot smoother to the touch, plus it's also safe on nitrocellulose finishes.
