Description

The Mojotone Classic Mojo'Tron humbucking pickups offer a true vintage Filter'Tron tone with more emphasis on clarity and twang. These are original Filter'Tron sized using only the finest parts and materials available. The covers and magnets were reverse engineered from an original 1960 vintage Filter'Tron pickup and they consist of the same materials and composition.

With consistent and proprietary winding technique Mojotone were able to unlock the true potential of the Filter'Tron pickup tone so that it blooms with enhanced touch sensitivity and clarity. If you are looking for the jangle, growl, bite, or twang of a vintage Filter'Tron pickup, then the Classic Mojo'Tron is a very versatile choice.

    I replaced the Fidelitron pickups in my Fender Coronado II reissue and I'm sorry to say, nothing about these stands out. Sound is subjective, and these don't sound bad, but they lack that special something you get from Duncan's, DiMarzio, Novak, and other High-end pickup makers. I bought these to take advantage of the free pickup install promo GC did recently, but without that-and because of how expensive these are- I would have gambled on buying TV Jones from another retailer that carries their PUPs.
