    I've always used Mogami Gold, so I can't say that this is worlds better or anything, but I wanted the best of the best of everything in my signal chain so this was a no-brainer. I see people pay thousands up on thousands for high end guitars and amps and then plug everything up with junk cables and lose all the nuance that they paid for in the guitars and amps. I won't do it! Snake oil, maybe, but for a hundred bucks, give or take, what have I lost, really?

    Yes, it is expensive ~ but you get what you pay for & you are getting the Best. It's very noticeable, so I only buy Mogami when there are other companies making the same thing because it is worth it.

    In a Blues & Rock band(classic rock). A Marshall JCM2000 DSL201, with Pauls, PRS, and Strat. I haven't been able to put my Strat down, since I've heard the extra dimension of sound, I didn't realize was missing, before I used the Mogami platinum overdrive cable(s) There is a certain "Clarity" & "Tonal Character" that I've always chased "Nailed It!"

    First time I was able to use these cables, was at band practice. Their quality, live articulate tone/sound was heard from the git go. Amazing!! I was using my Fender Strat, with my Marshall 201s(DSL),and a Roland ME-80. Wow, like the other guitarist said; "It has the tone combo that's similar in Tone/sound to M.Knopfler & SRV! It was there for all to hear! I loved it. They allowed my "Rig" to shine! I'm definitely buying another! I look at the cost as minimal, when compared to the cost of a new sound effect.
