Description

Part of their X Series, the Martin 000-X2E auditorium acoustic-electric guitar lets left-handed players experience the acclaimed tone and playability of the 000-X2E in a dedicated model made just for them. With a solid spruce top and high-pressure laminate (HPL) back and sides in eye-catching Brazilian rosewood pattern, the left-handed 000-X2E delivers Martin's signature balanced acoustic tone. The slim taper neck has a Performing Artist profile for smooth playability, along with a comfort edge fingerboard for fatigue-free practicing and performing. Martin E-1 electronics with chromatic tuner let you plug in for amplified gigs or recording sessions. The 000-X2E left-handed has a comfortable lightweight body with cutaway for easy upper-fret access.

Left-Handed Model Caters to Southpaws

This 000-X2E left-handed auditorium model allows you southpaw players to experience Martin's acclaimed X Series tone and playability without compromising comfort. It has the same features as the right-handed version, simply flipped for left-handed orientation. From the position of the soundhole, inverted bridge and tuners to the comfortable neck shape and taper, this 000-X2E provides smooth playability for left-handed musicians. The cutaway body style ensures easy access to the highest frets.

Spruce and HPL Provide Martin's Signature Balanced Tone

This left-handed 000-X2E model combines a solid Sitka spruce top with high-pressure laminate (HPL) back and sides in a Brazilian rosewood pattern for Martin's acclaimed balanced tone. The spruce top offers clarity and articulation in the treble and midrange, while the HPL back and sides provide richness, warmth and volume. Together, they create an evenly balanced acoustic tone across all six strings. The mortise and tenon neck joint improves resonance and sustain. Whether unplugged or amplified, this lefty 000-X2E delivers Martin's signature versatile sound—ideal for various musical genres and playing styles.

Slim Taper Neck Promotes Smooth Playability

Designed for optimal playability, the left-handed 000-X2E features a slim taper neck with Martin's comfortable Performing Artist profile. The slimmer taper provides a fast feel, while the PA profile contours nicely to your hand. The fingerboard has a High-Performance Taper with a gentle bevel along the edges for fatigue-free practicing and performing. The fingerboard is also crafted from smooth HPL material to complement the neck. Together, these features allow for silky playability across the 20 frets. This 000-X2E plays as good as it sounds.

Onboard Electronics Let You Plug in Anywhere

The 000-X2E left-handed auditorium acoustic-electric guitar comes equipped with Martin's E-1 electronics. This discreet onboard preamp has volume, tone and phase controls so you can dial in your amplified tone. It also has a built-in chromatic tuner. Just plug into an amp or PA system, and you're ready to perform. The guitar sounds excellent unplugged, but the electronics provide the flexibility to play live gigs or record in the studio.

Lightweight Auditorium Body With Cutaway

The left-handed 000-X2E is lightweight and comfortable for extended playing. The auditorium-style body produces balanced bass and projection while remaining compact. The cutaway design allows easy access to the highest frets, enabling you to play solos and reach challenging chords with ease. The 000 body shape and 24.9" scale length are ideal for fingerstyle playing. Between the comfortable contours and compact dimensions, this Martin left-handed 000-X2E is a pleasure to play and hold on stage or in the studio.

Bought this guitar for my grandson. He's a lefty and this is a true left handed guitar. Well made, as I would expect from Martin, and sounds great. The electronics and built in tuner are a real bonus.

  • Great action on this guitar!

I will be using this as my gigging guitar. The new neck is slightly slimmer with rounded edges on the neck fretboard. I can move easier up & down the neck. Also love the included tuner and cool Brazilian wood look, albeit it's pressed board.
