This amp has proven Itself to be a rock solid, versatile and easy to use piece of Electronic Gold that shimmers great clear tones one moment then shouts amazing crunches the next... spanking reverb as well! Allows me to utilize my effects through a separate loop, permitting Marshall clean and crunch tones at a foot click 😃😄😚 Love from a new owner
Better than my Mesa/Boogie!

WOW! tone, versatility, and it's a Marshall. Switch pedal is programmable. You can have 4 different settings programmed. All 3 channel modes are accessible by the pedal. Did I mention the tone!
Found the tone I was looking for......

I originally bought the DSL100 but did not like the tone I was getting from it....I thought it sounded muddy when the gain was juiced up, so I took it back. I replaced it with the JVM205 and honestly could not be happier. I absolutely love this amp. It has just about every Marshall tone you could ask for, which can all be controlled via a very smart foot switch. Only minor downside to this amp is that it can be a little noisey with the higher gain settings, so if your are into hard rock or metal you may want to also invest in a noise gate. Overall this is a great, really versatile amp that can get just about any tone from crystal clean to insane gain. I would recommend this amp to anyone, especially those who are in search of a specific tone but have yet to find it.
Finally!

Although I've been using Boogies since the 80's because of their multiple channels with eq on all, I've always had a Marshall because you've just got to have a Marshall, right? Finally Marshall has made an amp with eq on both channels AND 2 masters so I don't have to mess with the volume and eq on my guitars! Love this amp!!

honestly, this is the best sounding amp i have ever played. now, i have played pretty mych every other amp out there, including the 6505+, which is also a great amp, but the JVM just blows it away. It produces the overdriven and clean sounds i have been searching for! i love that it has 4 channels. for my first channel i have it set to a crystal clean with some added reverb, which is really nice, and i like how there is a separate reverb for the clean channels, and another for the overdrive channels. my second channel is a dirty clean, and my third channel is more of a heavier crunch sound. now, the fourth channel is for the nastiest heaviest riffs ever written. it has the perfect amount of chug and sustain for solos. i play a schecter hellraiser which has actives, and this amp brings it to life, giving it a full tone, if that makes any sense hahah. this amp really is made for hard rock and metal. the only thing is the price. it is extremely expensive. but it does come with an awesome footswitch that is extremely helpful! this amp sounds so good, pedals aren't even needed. in the end, get this freakin amp!

I bought this amp & a new 1960A cab about six months ago. I have been very impressed after some break in time on the amp and cab. The tones are very, very good with my Les Paul. The clean tone is exceptionally good. Then you have a Plexi tone with the orange, clean channel. The next is very JCM 800 and sounds almost exactly like my brothers JCM 800 Silver Jubilee stack on the clean red channel. On the OD chanel you have huge amounts of gain and I especially like the orange OD. This amp may even sound better through a cab that takes less wattage. But, I like the bright G12T-75 speakers very much with this amp. Great distortion also. This is only my preference. One of the AHW or BHW cabs may really make this amp even sweeter and fatter. Very well made. The pedal is excellent also. Great amp, stock!!!
