The ARES series double bass strings are made of high-quality, selected silver alloy wire. They are hand-wound and finished with smooth surface on multi-filament nylon core by the master string makers at Markbass. These innovative strings are developed to offer a tone and feeling very similar to gut strings, with best sound projection and support. Excellent for plucking, they also work very well with a bow. Nylon smooth wound 3/4.
