    Can you put a marching snare drum on this stand

    No. The marching snare setup is different than a standard snare. There's a bracket on the side of it that holds it up. You would need the specific marching snare stand.

    How low does the stand go??

    the height ranges from 18" lowest to max height 22" to 24" depending on hour you have the legs set.
