bought one, and never bought a different uke.

This thing is amazing, it was my first uke, Ive played it for over a year, and its never failed me. Its tone, durability, and play ability, are outstanding for a uke this price.

I bought this for my daughter, who already has a traditional ukulele, but the array of colors on this model are appealing. She loves the pink exterior and when the schools open back up she's looking forward to playing it there. It's not a supremely built instrument, but for the price it's a winner. I can't speak for anyone else, of course, but we had no trouble tuning it, despite some of the comments that say so. We really like it.

  • Good deal.

I bought them for a beginner class I was teaching. They worked just fine. They'd make good first ukes for kids too.

  • Great for beginners if you can tune your instrument!

I am an ex violinist, and have been interested in playing the ukelele for awhile. I knew i wanted a cheaper first piece, and in pink (my favorite color) is just an AWESOME bonus! I'll admit that i would have spent over double what i did on this instrument, however, if there was just another pink ukelele of higher quality...i'm quarantined and it's the little things in life :D Any time you buy a new instrument, even a violin over $1000, the pegs slip. It's brand new, the strings need to stretch, and the fact that most ukes *including this one* use nylon strings- they slip. Today is only day 2 of my ukelele journey, and i have spent over 6 hours so far playing it. I had to tune it about every 10min at first, and now only every 20min. To compare, a brand new/expensive violin would need to be tuned about every 20min of play. By now a higher quality instrument would be able to hold a tune for 45-60min. Because i can tune it myself, it's not an issue for me. Is it annoying- yes, but you would experience this with any string instrument. The longer you play it, the longer it will hold it's tune.

  • no complain!
