I had low expectations for this drum pad, and somehow it still managed to crawl underneath them and start digging. From the moment I turned it on, it felt less like a musical instrument and more like a badly designed apology. The pads are either unresponsive or *too* responsive—there is no middle ground. Tap lightly? Nothing happens. Breathe near it? It triggers three random sounds at once, none of which resemble a drum known to humankind. The sound quality is aggressively uninspiring. Every kick sounds like a cardboard box being gently insulted, the snares have all the punch of a wet napkin, and the hi-hats seem personally offended that they were included at all. If this drum pad were a band member, it would be the one who shows up late, out of tune, and then unplugs your amp by mistake. Build quality is another adventure. The plastic feels so cheap I kept checking to see if it was supposed to be a temporary shipping shell. Buttons wobble with the confidence of a folding chair on a trampoline, and I'm fairly certain one solid groove would cause the whole thing to file for early retirement. Latency is the final insult. There's a noticeable delay between hitting a pad and hearing the sound, which is perfect if your goal is to unlearn rhythm and question every musical instinct you've ever had. In summary, this drum pad is not just disappointing—it's creatively discouraging. I didn't walk away inspired to make music. I walked away inspired to make a return.

Very good practice pad! Personally, I like the bounce back better than a standard hardside pad. It has a very natural feel, gets the wrists moving. Overall, extremely satisfied!
