This is a nice product for someone that does not want the constant jingles other than clapping the hi hat... I was hoping for a long more jingles as I always set a nice tambourine on my hi hat. I like the sound of the jingles, but the tambourine sitting directly on my hi hat moves around a lot but does not usually get in the way. This tool here is great because now I have an alternative and you can hit on it directly.... If you are looking for a lot of jingles when keeping time, this is not what you want because it barely jingles at all when keeping time. I like having options and it seems to be sturdy to me.... I have been playing drums for over 39 years, have been on Christian radio, played in a church for a few years.... I play classic rock... I am writing this to help others..... best wishes to all :)

  • Support Broke After 8 Months

There are 4 supports that hold up the upper ring. I noticed one support is missing a small section. The product is advertised as long life - I seriously don't think so. The rubber chips while being struck. I wasn't using it as much during every performance because the sound isn't as full as I hoped for - in fact some audience members noticed I switched tambourines. I returned to using my old RhythmTech and am very happy - too bad I wasted my money back in August 2014. I don't recommend this product.

  • A must if you are into extra jingles!

I was hesitant to purchase item at first, because of a possible constant hihat jingle that i did not want, but i'm glad i did because, i found out it is a controlled jingle by a hard or fast hihat clap or ofcourse a direct hit with stick. I've only had it about three months, but played on almost every day.I am very satisfied with product design, construction & looks.
