Good quality, looks good, sounds good. The finish is more of a very dark brown. Out of the box, it will definitely need tuning. The tuning instructions that are included, however, are terrible. Better to find a video online. Once tuned, sounds very nice. PLEASE NOTE: On the size of the drums - The 12" drum has a 10" playing surface. 12" is the actual size of the head, from edge to edge. Overall, great for the price. Sounds and looks professional. Made in Indonesia
