These are NOT single row tambourines! As a matter of fact they are double row, Meinl doesn't even make a single row ABS tambourine. Somehow the description to all vendors was wrong. I ordered one of these and it is just like the picture shows. It has two rows. Very nice sounding crisp, tight, perfect for the studio or small group playing.
At the top of the pack for brass tamborines!!!

I have been playing tamborines for over 20 years.I have played in the car, on the stage with bands, and singing karoake. I have had many people love the added sound that these tamborines give to each song. The black color is the way to go because the tamborine looks good and always looks new. I have even received many compliments that this tambourine sounds great. The sounds are crisp and clear. I would highly recommend this item to anyone looking for a tambourine.
