Had these guys for about 2 years now and they're still in great shape. Mostly being utilized for amp sim use (guitar rig 5, overloud th3, brainworx) and they're very usable. I doubt you'll get the fullness of a bigger speaker at higher volumes, especially if you're tuned down a bit, but i rarely run my speakers at what most would consider "loud". Pro tip: When gain staging your setup, put your monitors volume at about halfway, your computers/devices volume at near 100%. You don't want to adjust your volume from the monitor end because you'll lose alot of the natural warmer sound. I just use a cheap Behringer um2 interface for my guitar and honestly it works just fine. Also ran an astro a-40 tr mixamp through it for music. Worked fantastic. Music playback is great even at higher volumes. I get this is an entry set and as a result alot of people think they're going to get this crazy super bass and they aren't really built for that. Go find a logitech set with a small sub if thats what youre looking for. I cant speak from my limited experience on how neutral these are for mixing, but I don't hear any MAJOR biases on any eq curve. Great home office use. Great practice use. Not sure what more you could want out of a set like this at this price point.

I bought these as my second pair of mixdown speakers and for about 6 months I was using them as my primaries. At lower volumes, they seemed to be fairly accurate. However, at higher volumes, they seemed fuzzy and began to become very muffled. Now they are paperweights. Good thing I still have a pair of Event TR8s. Overall I believe I still got my monies worth, and that's why I gave them 3 stars.

I use these in my home studio. Not sure what others are doing with them to cause breakage and such. However, mine stay on my desk at reasonable volumes. I use them for personal rehearsal, learning songs, and jamming with backing tracks. I use a 1x12 tube amp with my guitar (again at reasonable volumes) and the monitors work fine. The sound quality is good, Im sure there are better. But, for my application they work wonderfully.if you're looking for something to DJ with or blow the neighbors ears out. These are not the monitors you're looking for. For good balanced sound for personal monitoring. I highly recommend these.

Only sound was from headphone jack. No other sound. Took back after 20 min. Salesman confirmed defect. Tried another pair at G.S. And they sounded like an old transistor radio. No thanks. Got money back. Ill be saveing up for higher end monitors. The staff was great and took care of the return. Plan on spending over $300.00 for better quality monitors. You get what you pay for.
