Why use anything else?

I was FED UP with screws coming out, nuts loosening, difficulty pushing the hardware through the strap and all the other issues traditional strap locks present. This thing is awesome. Clips on to just about any existing hardware that may be on your guitar whether it was a factory post or something left over from a straplock system. Snaps on securely and no hassles. LOVE IT and I hope they sell a ton of them.

Could be GREAT, but isn't......Strap Locks work though.

The LOCK Part works really well, the Guitar is safe with this properly fitted on the Guitar. But the Polyester strap will cut your neck. While using this Guitar strap, your Guitar will not fall out of the LOCK. That is for sure, BUT you MUST wear a shirt with this strap ! and moving the strap while the edge of the strap is touching your skin or side of your neck is not a good idea, you can get cut if the strap moves fast enough. The retractable blade (that is actually the part that comes down onto the Strap Pin on the Guitar) needs to be a little longer so as to avoid the Pin/Knob on the outside of the strap hitting and butting up against my expensive GIBSON Guitars Heel. IDK if, over time, it will end up leaving a mark on the Guitar but if the blade inside the sleeve were 1/8" longer it would clear the Guitars body (the HEEL). Did no one manufacturing these straps put one on a GIBSON Electric and realize this? I guess not !!

I have no doubt this will hold my Strat securely. Pretty good value for the money, I would say.... That having been said, it is about as comfortable as wearing a door mat around your neck.

Lock it is well designed, durable, affordable and made in America. Works with existing stock hardware so there's no need to modify or limit to one instrument. Confident, I bought two.

  • Lock strapt a must-have!
