    used on a acoustic guitar. while idea is good .. the product is not great in use. the locking mechanism is inflexible and approximately 5 inches long. I have placed the button "around the corner" (slightly under where the neck attaches to the body of the guitar) so that the stiff locking mechanism does not easily attach to my guitar. This might not affect another user depending on where you place the button on the guitar.
