I would buy this product again; Ag better than Au plating ?

I connect 2 of these Advantage cable for a 100 ft run. People are walking on it and rolling food carts over it. I noticed, buried in the text, that the shield on the Lifewire Advantage is braided but the similarly priced Livewire Essential is simply spiraled/twisted. The Lifewire Advantage conductor is 20 AWG but the similarly priced Livewire Essential conductor is 24 AWG. I chose the Advantage even at the slightly higher price.

Probably better for on-stage performance

I used this XLR cable to record in the studio, and some of my vocal recordings had a humming/staticky sound in them which made recording frustrating. This cable would probably be better for practicing or live performances in my opinion, although I've never tried it for that purpose before.

The cable seems very durable and even though I haven't used it a lot yet, I feel it will give me many years of use without fail. It is a nice thick cable that can handle the abuse of being on stage, rockin' out in your garage, or practicing in a studio. Whatever you need to accomplish, this cable will not fail you.
