Description

The Laguna LAB5CE Acoustic-Electric Bass is a 4-string Florentine cutaway bass with a laminated bubinga body in a natural gloss finish, a mahogany neck, and a rosewood fretboard, featuring a Fishman Classic 4T preamp with tuner, 3-band EQ, and chrome hardware. It comes in a 34" scale with a dovetail neck joint and a C-shaped neck with 22 frets.

    when I looked at acoustic basses the look of this bass grabbed my eye. of course looks don't make a bass sound good. Having this bass for a year now I can say that it has a good tonal balance. The only problem I have had is the contacts on the battery. Sometimes it looses power. This is a good bass for this price range.

    This was my first acoustic bass purchase and I was amazed at the tone, feel, and quality of this particular model. I tried several others at the store, but the LAB5CE had a fuller sound compared to the other brands. The Fishman pickup system is a great feature as well, and it produced a great recording during our live worship service. If you're looking for an acoustic bass to add to your collection this is definitely the way to go!

    a good acoustic bass is really hard to find but this thing is perfect so look no further.not only is it so pretty it hurts your eyes if you look directly into it but the sound is amazingly clear, the intonation is perfect all the way across the neck and there isnt a single note that buzzez what so ever.do yourself a favor and buy thi bass.
