I have used this ukulele for four years now. It is an amazing beautiful instrument. I did not buy this ukulele from guitar center, but I have the same exact model of the Kala ukulele. This ukulele took the wear and tear of me picking and performing, and it still looks beautiful. I would highly recommend this ukulele to all players. If you are just beginning to play the ukulele you should buy this one because it is a good start.

I cant believe the quality of this ukulele. Very well made for being Kala's "sub brand". Excellent product and value. Craftsmanship is on point. Love it!

I'm a beginner and the Makala concert uke is great. Great ukulele at a great price. There was mention (in other reviews) of it coming with cheap strings so I was (through string research) prepared to change to Aquila strings when it arrived. Turns out it came with Aquila super nylgut already on the uke! The strings are fine and the uke plays well and sounds good. I haven't been having any issues with it staying in tune either. I love it! I'm finding it easy to learn on this instrument.
Great product!

I've played 3 in this price range. One of which that was $10 more and I think it's a bit more consistent on tone and looked much cooler. (Forget brand/model) but this is second best among those. She's prettier than a rusty penny and sounds better too! Received as a gift. Fun to play. Not keeping tune as of yet but I'm less than an hour in of playing time. I'll chalk that up to new strings and new uke that hasn't quite seated itself in. The nut rattles with the C string. If this persists I'll return or just glue her down! Considering the price you get what you pay for. Be realistic my peeps! Deuces and happy playing \||/ Mike
