    I'm almost 70 years old and this takes the pressure off my arms and back between songs and I can leave it set up during breaks. Sure makes a lot of difference after a three hour gig.

    I am looking for a double bass stand that can clamp onto the instrument itself which can be moved about while still connected to the bass. Does this stand clamp onto the bass?
