Jackson

collapse expand iconDescription

The Rhoads JS32 from Jackson is an affordable yet feature-packed electric guitar ready to take your playing to the extreme. Its poplar body is shaped into the signature angular Rhoads V form and finished in a sleek ivory gloss, providing an ideal balance of comfort and style. The bolt-on maple speed neck and 12"—16" compound radius amaranth fretboard allow for fast, precise fretting across all 24 jumbo frets.

Floyd Rose Bridge Enables Divebombs and Squeals

The Rhoads JS32 is equipped with a licensed Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo bridge, enabling radical techniques like divebombs, squeals and extreme pitch bends. With both the bridge and nut locked in place, the guitar stays in tune even under heavy tremolo arm use. Unleash your creativity with wild whammy bar effects that will cut through the mix.

High-Output Pickups Provide Aggressive Tone

The Rhoads JS32 comes loaded with a Jackson high-output humbucker in the neck and bridge position, each with ceramic magnets for a tight, focused sound with plenty of output. Switch between the two pickups or combine them using the three-way toggle switch for a range of tones from bright and cutting to warm and full.

Ergonomic Contours and Lightweight Body for Comfort

While the Rhoads V shape is iconic, Jackson designed the Rhoads JS32 for playing comfort. Its lightweight poplar body features a modern look and contours in all right places for an aggressive look and a sleek feel for playability. The V-shape allows unhindered access to the upper frets free from horns so you can solo without limits.

This is a really good buy. The thing screams rhoads. They pickups are rock metal but can clean up well also. The white bevels and black theme realy bring out the shape . Neck is long and has a very nice contour . The bottom is more of a flatter radius so it feels easy but solid. I can't think of anything bad to say about it except the setup needed some tweaking to really dial it in and no one likes factory strings anyway. If you have a real heavy hand you might want to checkout the jumbo frets cause with a high amount of pressure they can go a little sharp. The frets are effortless on this and fell finished well, if your wanting a V this should do you well. I think Randy would be proud of how the quality of these have come so far for the price.

  • Nice guitar, but not for everyone

use this guitar mostly for jamming with friends/at home and recording. Nice lead tones from bridge pickup IMO. However, if you've never played a V shape before...It's difficult. I have bad posture so its difficult to sit with, hurts my gonads and difficult to reach some notes.

The tuning is fine. "does it go out after a song and then again and again" - any whammy bar will affect tuning. It's how you play it.

Yes. I have small hands and I play the bass. An instrument will not play itself. It requires effort - a lot. Some positions will be easier than others. It's the nature of the beast.

This is a good quality guitar and would come with a standard factory setup, so it shouldn't have a problem staying in tune.
