Description
The Jackson JS Series Spectra Bass JS3V is a cutting-edge 5-string bass with enormous sound and style. This 35" scale bass features an offset poplar body and bolt-on maple neck for comfortable playability and rock-solid stability. With its speedy neck contour, 24-fret laurel fingerboard, and lightweight body, the Spectra Bass JS3V provides lightning-fast playability for hours of effortless practice or performance.
Dual Humbucking Pickups Provide Powerful Tone
The Spectra Bass JS3V is equipped with dual Jackson medium-output humbucking pickups that create a monstrous low-end growl perfect for any genre. A HiMass bridge provides enhanced stability and sustain for bold, resonant tone. A 2-way toggle switch allows for coil splitting, while volume, blend, and 3-band EQ controls offer flexible tone shaping. With the push/pull EQ selector, you'll never have to fear losing sound—just pull the volume knob to bypass the active EQ circuit and keep playing.
Modern Styling and Offset Body
The Spectra Bass JS3V features an offset poplar body with a large upper horn to evenly distribute weight, providing perfect balance and reducing neck dive. Its sleek black nickel hardware and unique Jackson 3x2 black headstock create an understated yet modern look.
Highly Playable Neck and Fingerboard
The Spectra Bass JS3V's bolt-on maple neck and 12"-16" compound radius laurel fingerboard were designed for speed and comfort. 24 jumbo frets provide ample room for advanced techniques while dot inlays help keep you oriented. I was online all day yesterday trying to figure out which 5 string I was gonna get. Let's just say, i was torn between one 150 dollars cheaper and this pretty lady. As soon as I plugged her in, I realized I made the right choice! My style is very versatile, I'm into slap a bit but my true love is metal, and she can do everything I want and need her to do! Great job Jackson! And thanks to the guys at guitar center, Detroit aka Roseville ! You guys never let me down!

I really like this bass because I felt like playing a 5 string bass and this bass is worth the price it is because it sounds really good just a little fret buzz but it's easy to fix.Other then that yeah perfect for beginners.

I picked up the JS spectra and was pleasantly surprised at the action and width of the neck. Even off the shelf the settings it had were pretty close to where I have it at now. Just a little fret buzz on the higher notes but after a few adjustments it's playing great up and down the fret board without the string height being too high. As I wear down the frets I'll adjust the height. The hardware looks and feels and sounds amazing. The two-way volume is a pleasant addition and the 3 way toggle switch gives me some more freedom with the sound. Can't wait to open her up on stage.
