Great Dreadnought Gig Bag

I normally wait a few days to review a purchase but I just got this fantastic gig bag for my Epiphone IBG Hummingbird. The guitar fits perfectly inside and the neck secures with Velcro to minimize movement. This is the perfect bag to get around to gigs. It's easy to slip the guitar in and zip it up. There are three ways to carry it. You can use the comfortable back-straps, the side handle and a strap handle on the back to keep it steady while removing the guitar. It has four zippered pockets of various sizes for stuff including an ipad, sheet music, strings, picks, capo, tuner, and strap. Gig bags are meant to make it easy to transport and do not provide the protection of a hard shell case. Don't expect to bring this on a plane or toss it in with a sound system in your trunk. That is not its purpose. This is not a negative it's just a gig bag fact of life. What's important here is that this is a great looking bag that stands out from all the black ones out there. It offers a convenient way to get your instrument where you want it and still keep your hands free. The faux suede side and bottom does offer some protection from the ground and the straps are quite comfortable. NOTE: Be sure to check the specs. This comes in a few sizes.

Not as long or roomy as I had expected

I have an slimline Ibanez GA34stce-nt, an acoustic electric. This bag is quite tight and although styled nicely, it's a hassle. The zipper only goes around 3/4 of the bag, so you have to stuff the guitar in it. And I had to remove the cheap bottom pad just to get make guitar to fit. This might be the difference between it being called a gig bag and any other soft padded bag. There's also very very little padding in the bag itself. Totally not like my soft ver padded bag for my Gibson. This bag looks nice but it's cheap and the fit shows just how cheaply made it is. It should be at least another inch or two in length to fit most guitars, I would think. I don't recommend this bag unless your child needs it for a child size guitar.

It's a good gig bag but there might be better bags for the same money. I would prefer if the zipper opened up a little more allowing more room to to get the guitar in/out of the bag without the zipper possibly scraping the guitar.

I play acoustic guitar so thought I would try playing electric guitar. I bought this gig bag to travel back and forth to lessons. I liked the color on line it looked like a reddish rust color but when it arrived it was more like raspberry. Overall I was surprised how many compartments it has plus a shoulder strap and handle. This case is very well made and the design is great with the suede accents. I'm very happy with this case and highly recommend, price was great too!

Have a nice visual, but for the price I honestly think that could be more safer for the instrument, it's good only for fast transportation.

I got the navy blue bag, and it has been nothing but perfect. It is excellent quality, and with a beautiful color like this, it is worth every penny. Would recommend to anyone in need of a quality gig bag.
