EHB1000S-PMM featuring 潘雪娇Kyo

Description
Part of the Ibanez EHB series, which includes this EHB1000S ergonomic short-scale bass guitar, features a headless construction, contoured body, ergonomic design and chambered body, which makes for a lightweight and comfortable instrument that’s excellent for long sets or practice sessions. The series also sports a combination of high-quality tonewoods and versatile electronics, resulting in a cutting-edge, ultramodern bass, capable of cutting though the complex landscape of tones required for today’s bassist.
MR5HS Bridge
The MR5HS bridge is designed specially for EHB basses and features a wide intonation range. Each bridge piece is independently and securely attached to the body for maximum vibration transfer. The saddles are adjustable for string spacing +/-1.5 mm, answering every bassist’s individual string spacing demands, no matter the playing style. Teflon washers are used on each tuner for a smooth tuning action.
The EB1000S bass also comes with Schaller S-Locks strap lock pins, rugged Ibanez custom headpieces, which enable strings to be easily set and released by a hex wrench from the back side, and a gig bag.
Bass Workshop
For more than 40 years, Ibanez has pioneered new frontiers in bass development, pushing the boundaries of conventional designs to bass players of all styles, affording new avenues of expression and creativity. This spirit of exploration has led to the creation of some of the most successful and popular production basses of all time. Following this same drive to bring new and relevant ideas to the musical forefront is what serves as the basis for this ongoing project, dubbed the Ibanez Bass Workshop. The impetus behind each one of these unique instruments comes from a desire by the Ibanez bass development team to satisfy the particular needs of many players. These inventions may not be for everyone, but for those who yearn to explore new sonic vistas through the medium of bass: The Ibanez Bass Workshop project may give you just what you're looking for.
Comfortable Design
One of the most ergonomically friendly designs, the EHB1000S's headless construction, slanted body back, rounded body edges, scooped cut in the back and chambered body make this a comfortable bass to play whether you are seated or standing. It's also lightweight and balanced, so it won't kill your back after long hours of play. If you're a fingerpicker-style player, the EHB1000S's finger ramp is detachable.Tonewoods
The EHB1000S is crafted from basswood which offers a natural, flat tone. This is paired with a 5-piece roasted maple/walnut neck that has been heat-treated to increase its stability, durability, moisture resistance and tolerance of temperature changes. Graphite reinforcement rods inside the neck provide massive sustain and excellent stability. The beautiful birdseye maple fretboard imbues this bass with an exotic appearance and is also heat-treated adding even more balanced attack and rich sustain.Electronics
The EHB1000S is equipped with Bartolini BH2 pickups to provide a tight bottom-end, punchy midrange and smooth response. The dual-coil style configuration on this bass guitar maximizes articulation and a long blade pole piece widens the magnetic field, providing balanced string-to-string pickup response. The onboard Vari-mid 3-band EQ features a variable mid-frequency control, which allows you to dial in an incredibly wide range of sounds, while an EQ bypass switch (passive tone control on treble pot) offers precision tonal adjustments, including a switch to choose passive-only operation. When using EQ bypass, the treble tone control knob becomes the global tone control for the passive circuit.MR5HS Bridge

Great bass for small hands

Was surprised at the sound when I first played the bass. Excellent sound. I'm still getting used to the headless design when playing anything on the first fret. Only real complaint is what everyone complained about in the reviews. The side markers are hard to see.
