I played bass in a band for a few years and we played a lot of gigs. This was always my number 1 bass for practicing and playing live. It's an entry level instrument, but it has a great tone and playability, and with all of the pickup configurations, you can get quite a wide variety of sounds out of it. My Ibanez was definitely road tested. Also, it's pretty light, as basses go, so I could play for hours and not be uncomfortable.
Nice guitar easy to play, and I love the color

My granddaughter has this bass guitar, Ibanez GSR200. What gauge strings does she need to replace hers? She broke one.
This bass guitar would be compatible with any electric bass strings.
