With its headless design and slanted, chambered body, the EHB1005MS allows players to maintain an ideal playing position whether seated or standing. Multi-Scale Fretboard Provides Optimal String Tension
The EHB1005MS features a multi-scale fretboard with frets that gradually increase in size from the nut to bridge, providing balanced string tension and clear tone across all strings. The wider string spacing at the bridge also allows for more dynamic and articulate playing styles.
Bartolini Pickups Provide Powerful, Responsive Tone
The EHB1005MS is equipped with a Bartolini BH2 humbucker at the neck and bridge for powerfully nuanced tone. Combined with the 3-band active EQ, these pickups offer a wide range of tones from warm and rounded to aggressive and biting. An EQ bypass switch activates passive mode, allowing the treble control to function as a passive tone control.
Roasted Maple Neck and Fingerboard For Stability and Sustain
The roasted maple neck and fingerboard have been heat-treated to increase stability, durability and moisture resistance. The roasting process also enhances midrange tones and sustain. Stainless steel frets further improve sustain and brightness while preventing rust.
Premium Hardware Provides Rock Solid Performance
From the MR5HS bridge with adjustable string spacing to the Schaller S Lock strap pins and Neutrik locking jack, the EHB1005MS features premium components for a reliable and rock solid performance. A detachable finger ramp and padded gig bag are also included.
