Although somewhat fragile if you don't store it in a strong mute bag like I do, this is the most authentic cup mute on the market. I bought an aluminum one previously from Denis Wick, and though I love his mouthpieces and straight mutes, and his is fine, I think for the vintage cup mute you really need to go with the fiber material of this Stonelined model. The red and white color scheme also looks awesome! This one is very easy to install and fits better in my small-bore 8" King trombone than most modern mutes.
