Solid and Durable

I got this bridge to replace the original bridge on my new Epiphone EB-O. Installing it was a no-brainer, but only AFTER I went to my tool box to get the correct sized Allen wrench to put in the bolts. The one that came with the bridge was too small even if it was a pretty chrome wrench - it was still useless. You guys at Hipshot are better than that!! That was worth a couple of stars in itself, but the product itself is a solid 5-star performer. I have better sustain, and I can adjust the action and intonation waaaay better. In fact, when I got the action dialed in, the intonation was already spot on for all four strings. That made up for the useless Allen wrench. REMEMBER: when you install this thing, it goes directly on the body, so don't go sliding it around the top of your instrument.

    This is a direct swap that bolts directly to the body using existing holes. It is infinitely more adjustable that the stock three point bridge and is sounds great. My Thunderbirds are still definitely Thunderbirds, just easier to live with day-to-day.

    It was a perfect fit and looks nice. I love the individual adjustment capability. I can now feel vibration in the neck when I'm playing on the two lowest strings. Nice!

    Installed this on my Epiphone Thunderbird as soon as I got it. Best upgrade I have ever done. Easy install, easy setup, and instant tone/sound quality compared to the stock Epiphone 3-point bridge.
