Turn down the volume, not muffle it
amazingly these things take any type of music and basically lower the volume without distorting any of the frequencies. I would recommend these to anyone who plays music with a band, frequents rock concerts, or just would like to make noisy situations more tolerable.

Ok, but save money for better if gig alot.
These are decent ones for the money, comfortable, even if quite noticeable on stage. When I used these all I could hear were the mid-ranges mostly. I could hear vocals, guitar, and snare, muffled, but there. Big problem for me was bass was lost completely unless I was only one playing. No ringing or headache at the end of the night, but expect to play bass deaf. (at least that's how it was for me). Although, my wife wears these when she sits in the front of the club or dance floor by the mains and loves them.

I purchased this mainly to go to concerts and in the setup they're good. I tried them at s band rehearsal and they're not great for live playing. I recommend this product.

I have had these in the past, but for some reason they are now too large for my ears.

I use these when I have band practice, it cut down the decibels so my ears aren't ringing but I can still hear what everyone else is playing.

In the description, they used the term "filters". These are just cheap plastic plugs. There use to be a product called "sonic noise filters" that actually let air thru to the ear while filtering out harsh frequencies. These are NOT that . Save your money !.
No, I would not buy again
