  • Good Earplugs, but the "free case" is a disappointment

Ordered these expecting a hard plastic case like the previous pair I bought a few years ago. Wrong. They came with a flimsy clamshell-style case which I can't see lasting a week in my pocket. If I would have known that, I would have also ordered the two pairs of foam plugs with the hard case for $1.99 just to get the case. Otherwise, good plugs, no complaints there.

  • Great Product.

I love to use these when practicing loud and not in an environment where I can use in ears. I mainly play at church and use good in ears that double as in ears.

  • I would recommend to everyone.

I used them now at every rehearsal and every gig. Be sure to put them in correctly, not half in, you do not get the same effectiveness. The sound quality is much better when inserted all the way, its all or nothing and if you don't protect your ears, it could be nothing. ;0

I asked a question yesterday but it was removed. I got an answer via email that they reduce noise by 12 decibels. Is that right? Which of their series reduces more noise?

How many decibels do they reduce the sound by? I'm confused because it seems the cheap disposable ones reduce noise by 32 decibels, and the more expensive ones only by 12. Is that right??

Hearos High Fidelity Ear Filters are a breakthrough product that delivers flat attenuation for musicians. With flat attenuation you hear the music just as it was intended, but with the elimination of up to 12 decibels of potentially damaging noise.
