Standing proudly next to its solid-body brethren, the Swede and Super Swede, this semi-hollow electric features a meticulously crafted maple body, a solid center-sustain block and a maple neck. Equipped with Hagstrom's prominent but not-too-hot HJ50 humbucking pickups, the Viking delivers a broad sonic palette suitable for everything from blues and rock to jazz-fusion and shred solos.

My only complaint is that it is made in China. I researched these for a while to determine country of origin and the Guitar Center site said it was Sweden so I pulled the trigger on it, but it came with a nice "made in China" sticker on it. Sounds and plays good though.
