Hagstrom Super Viking Flame Maple Electric Guitar Dark Baltic Sea

Description
An important trait inherited from its Super Swede cousin is the Super Viking’s longer, 25.5 inch (648mm) scale length. Drop tunings are a breeze with this longer scale, maintaining brilliance of attack and powerful resonance throughout the instrument as lower tonal realms are explored.
Sonic versatility is further enhanced by Hagstrom’s new, open framed H-50’C humbucker pickups designed specifically for the Super Viking. Add to this mix independent switching between humbucker and single coil mode via push/pull tone pots, and the Super Viking vastly expands your tonal horizons, creating a new range of sonic worlds to ravage.

The most amazing guitar!!

This is the most comfortable guitar I've ever played. Very comfortable!! This guitar produces amazing sounds. It has plenty of sound options with the push/pull Tone control knobs. Perfect set up on arrival, no set up was needed. The tuners are excellent, very smooth with no slack. And if all that wasn't enough, this thing is gorgeous!!
I am very pleased with this purchase.

I really like this guitar. It is very easy to play. The neck is very flat, the action is low, and the medium jumbo frets make it easy to play clean barre chords without working too hard. The frets are smooth and the ivory binding is well done. Very pretty! The tone is wonderful. Even unplugged, the body has excellent resonance and sustain. The split coil pickups are a great feature. The added versatility is a serious bonus. I discovered some great tones by experimenting with different single coil and humbucker combinations. Out of the box, this guitar played ok. I immediately took it to a shop and had it professionally set up. Now it plays great.
