The Gretsch G5622T Electromatic Center Block double-cut with Bigsby electric guitar pumps out the resonant, full-bodied Gretsch sound while remaining lightweight and comfortable on stage. Its laminated maple body and arched maple top are specially chambered with a spruce center block to produce airy acoustic resonance while minimizing feedback at higher volumes. The result is the lively, dynamic tone Gretsch is known for, now in a sleek double-cutaway shape designed for blazing leads.

Double-Cutaway Body Design for Complete Fret Access

The Gretsch G5622T features a double-cutaway maple body that lets you easily reach those high notes on the 22-fret laurel fingerboard. Its comfortable body contours, including forearm and ribcage cutaways, allow your fretting hand to move freely across the neck and upper frets. Whether you're ripping rock solos or fingerpicking intricate jazz chords, this Gretsch has the ergonomic design to support your playing.

Chambered Spruce Center Block Provides Resonance and Portability

At the heart of the G5622T is a chambered spruce center block that enhances resonance and sustain. By removing some wood, it reduces overall weight while retaining the vibrant acoustic properties of spruce. The result is a lively, resonant tone combined with a lightweight feel that makes this Gretsch comfortable to wear on stage. The maple top, back and sides also lend bright, balanced tone. Despite its semi-hollow construction, this Gretsch still produces plenty of volume and feedback resistance.

Create Your Signature Sound With Black Top Broad'Tron Humbuckers

The Gretsch G5622T wields a pair of Black Top Broad'Tron humbucking pickups for that classic Gretsch chime and articulation. The bridge Broad'Tron serves up clear treble bite and rich lows, while the neck Broad'Tron delivers smooth, vocal midrange perfect for jazz and blues. Toggle between them or combine their forces for a palette of complex tones. Dial in your perfect sound with individual volume controls and a master tone knob.

Fluid Playing Feel With a Slim Maple Neck

The G5622T's slim maple neck topped with a smooth laurel fingerboard is built for speed. Its thin profile and medium jumbo frets make it easy to blaze from the open position to the 22nd fret. The fingerboard's 12" radius feels natural to electric players. Take it even further with the Bigsby B70 vibrato tailpiece, which lets you infuse notes with expressive pitch swoops at the flick of the wrist.

Stage-Ready Looks and Construction

The G5622T has the stylish good looks expected from Gretsch. Its double-cutaway maple body is finished in elegant Midnight Sapphire, accented by sparkling silver plexi pickguard sporting the Gretsch and Electromatic logos. It all sits atop a sturdy set maple neck secured with a strong bolt-on joint. Die-cast tuning machines keep it locked in tune, gig after gig. Plug in and let your Gretsch G5622T Electromatic sing.
