Broad'Tron BT-3S Pickups for Dynamic Tone
The G2655's Broad'Tron BT-3S humbuckers are engineered for bold, articulate tone with enhanced midrange punch and crisp clarity. These pickups excel at delivering tight bass response and clear high-end detail, allowing your playing to cut through the mix without losing warmth or depth. Paired with the 3-position toggle switch, the master tone and individual volume controls, these pickups provide a wide tonal palette for shaping your sound. Whether layering rhythm tracks or delivering searing solos, the Broad'Tron BT-3S set ensures precise, responsive output for every note.
Chambered Center Block Construction for Reduced Feedback
The laminated maple body of this guitar is paired with a chambered center block, designed to minimize feedback while preserving the instrument's natural resonance. This construction is ideal for players who perform at high volumes, as it provides the sustain and warmth of a semi-hollow body without the risk of unwanted noise. The arched maple top further enhances tonal projection, delivering vibrant overtones and a balanced frequency response. Whether on stage or in the studio, this design ensures clean, focused sound even in demanding environments.
Push/Pull Coil Splitting for Tonal Flexibility
One of the standout features of this model is the master volume knob with push/pull coil splitting, allowing you to switch from full humbucking mode to single-coil tones with ease. This functionality expands the tonal range of the guitar, offering everything from thick, creamy humbucker tones to bright, glassy single-coil textures. The intuitive control layout, which includes Gretsch's signature radio-style knobs, ensures quick and seamless adjustments. This feature makes the instrument highly adaptable for players who want access to diverse tonal options during performances or recording sessions.
Durable Components for Reliable Performance
The G2655 Streamliner Center Block Jr. is built with high-quality materials and hardware to withstand the rigors of regular use. Its V-Stoptail bridge design offers secure string anchoring and adjustable intonation, ensuring consistent tuning stability and optimal sustain. The bone nut enhances string vibration transfer for improved tone and durability, while the die-cast sealed tuners provide precise tuning adjustments. With its nickel hardware and robust construction, this guitar is made to deliver reliable performance on stage and in the studio.
