I have GraphTech Ratios on both my MIK G&L Tribute Legacy and Tribute S-500. They're drop in upgrades on the Tribute Series, no adapter plates required. Easy to install. Excellent tuning stability. Make restringing easier and quicker.
I would buy Graph Tech Electric Locking 6 In-line again

Fender mounting plates sold separately

Just received them to throw on my standard strat that I'm upgrading. Well... if you have a strat with two pin tuners, graph tech doesn't supply the mounting plate for Fender... proprietary thing. You have to order it separately... which is not a huge issue. Around $10 retail...but now I have to wait another 5 days or so to install them. Other issue is if you buy them in black... the mounting plates provided are all chrome and are seen if used. I would've had to order the plates in black regardless. They look nice and can't wait to try them.

When I received my tuners I noticed that they were numbered to make the install easy. My problem was I had 1,2,3,4,4,6. I got a hold of graphtech and explained the situation. They offered to send me a number 5 tuner at no cost to me. That is how you create loyal customers. These tuners fit perfectly. Now, I did my do diligence and found tuners that fit my guitar. I did t have to drill any holes. Even if I needed to drill holes I wouldn't have to. These babies come with adapters to fit about any guitar. I have had them on my Variax standard for about a week and it has never sounded better. Thank you guitar center fo carrying their products and thank you graphtech for your commitment to your customers.
