Great Guitar

Workmanship and build quality are excellent. Sound is what you would expect to get from a Martin D-28 or the largest Taylor with Rosewood back and sides. Very playable neck with cutaway for better neck access. Well done design.

I have been playing for 30 years. I own several J45s, none of them rosewood.. Interesting that the Songwriter comes in a J45 case. I have truly enjoyed the tonal quality of this guitar. It has a nice clarity and truly excels when played in the finger picking style The Fishman electronics give this guitar some additional range to dial in the tone you want. It sounds great plugged as well. I wish I had bought one of these 10 years ago.

I am blown away by my Songwriter. I own a couple of Taylor acoustics and a Martin. This is my first Gibson acoustic and I couldn't be happier!
