Description
The limited-edition Gibson Les Paul Classic combines early '60s style with functional and time-tested modifications. As expected, the Les Paul Classic is crafted with a mahogany back and maple top coupled with a SlimTaper mahogany neck and a bound, rosewood fingerboard. '60s Burstbucker zebra, open-coil pickups provide classic Gibson tones from the era with a bit of extra punch thanks to the open coils. The control assembly features four push-pull pots, which provide choices of coil tapping, phase switching and Pure Bypassing for functional and versatile sonic variety.

Easy to use the single coil/phase controls For the pickups, and seems lighter than traditional Les Pauls. Pretty fast neck also.

Bought this a couple of months ago and couldn't be happier with it! It's built beautifully and has sustain and resonance I can feel through my whole chest when I'm wearing it. The sound, feel and quality are what Gibson is known for. I love the modern electronics and how they provide more sound options!

Just an amazing piece of work. Everything on my guitar is perfect. Set-up was not to my standard for string height but you can't have everything. Just a beautiful example of Gibson's craftsmanship.

I have had this LP for a few days. It's amazing to say the least. The pickups are fantastic and I do use all the push pull features. The green top is so gorgeous in person. I've always wanted this finish and natural back on a non custom shop LP.

How much does this guitar weight?

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
All guitars vary depending on the density of the wood. Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Guitars are generally between 6 and 12 lbs. They can be more. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. I'm sorry but I don't have one to weigh. This will be approximately 8.5 – 9.5 lbs

Stock image serial number reads 203030297 which would make this a 2020 made Guitar but I thought thus was a new 2023 Limited Edition, new limited edition for 2023 but it's serial number in stock photo indicates it's made in 2020. Question,,, is this old stock from Gibson that never was put up for sale or is this 2023 new? Confused here. Thanks

    Open Reply - Gear-Advisor
The photo is most likely incorrect. The pictures are stock photos from the manufacturer.
