Gibson L-00 Original Acoustic-Electric Guitar Ebony

I originally ordered the studio version. I was not happy with the hillbilly sound however, if you have a country accent you might love it! I took it back. The sales person I dealt with at the store, in Camp Washington, was rather pushy so, I got my money back and went home. I ordered the Original L-00 off it's looks. When it was delivered I was disappointed in the color of the case: kinda a cherry brown, not black. Although it matches my cherry bed and the latches are brass: very classy!! I have ended up loving the color: the inside is red. When I first saw it was blown away by the looks!! Absolutely gorgeous!! When I first played it I wasn't totally impressed. The sound was tight and muted. Remember it was brand new. I've had it for over 4 months now and every day the sound has improved!! I ordered this model because of its size: it stays in my bed and I play it almost every night!! To lay in bed at night and listen to the soft angelic sound is priceless and a dream come true. I look forward to decades of happiness strumming on her while improving on my blue/jazz style. Love is as live does and I'm truly in love and grateful to Gibson for creating her for me!!

I recently purchased the black version of this small body guitar. The guitar is light and the perfect size for a petite frame. It sounds gorgeous. Unfortunately, the guitar did not arrive with the silver peg shown on the image so you can add a guitar strap. I called Guitar Center and have been waiting more than 2 weeks for a response. I also initiated a chat and was told Guitar Center could not help me and could offer a partial refund of $5. I found this insulting and incredibly disappointing customer service. When spending over $3k on a new guitar, I should not have to risk the instrument by drilling a hole into it myself, particularly when it's advertised as having one already installed. I highly recommend this guitar but recommend buying it somewhere that cares about the customer.

It's a great guitar. I love the neck. It's definitely got character. Took it a couple days for the sound for it to get loosened up a little. The string spacing is a little tighter than I'd like but I'm ok with it.
