    Right out of the box the action was very comfortable, and the intonation was spot on, I'm a big fan of the slim taper neck profile. All of the electronics worked perfectly. The case fits perfectly too. The overall quality is superb. A big shout out to the crew at GC in Athens Georgia. They've always given me great deals, including decent trade in value.

    Currently own 10 guitars, 6 acoustics (Martin (3) Gibson (3)) and 4 electrics (Fender: Tele & Strat / Gibson: Les Paul & ES335). I can't put this ES335 down. It sounds fantastic played through my Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb or even unplugged.

    I just love to play guitar. I don't play out anymore. Over the last 60 years, I've owned dozens of guitars, but my favorites have always been the ES335 and the Les Paul models. This is my most recent purchase. I love the walnut color. This guitar was setup nicely. Good intonation, neck relief, saddle and nut depths spot on. It's a joy to play and it sounds great. I use a Fender Princeton amplifier.

    I decided I really wanted a red ES335. I looked at the custom stuff and the figured tops, but I found one of these at my local shop with a beautiful natural maple top. Not figured, but lots of movement in the grain. The feel was good and the pick-ups sound great clean and even better dirty. I was a little worried about the description of the neck as a slim taper. I've played plenty of Fenders I just can't warm up to. It does feel maybe a fraction less chunky than the figured version, but the neck plays and feels great. I have big hands too. The set-up and finish were really good too. Really nice guitar. I'm late to the ES335 game after playing Les Pauls for the last 40 years. There was definitely room in my heart for both!

    One of the best guitars I've played in a long time. The knobs are smooth and solid, the finish is fantastic. The frets are great and level. The pickups sound great, beefy and handle distortion really well. It's not as light as you would think for a semi Hollow Body but is a very comfortable weight. I've been recording with it and have zero problems!

    What size strings come stock on the ES 335 60's Block Limited-Edition? 9's or 10's? I bought one today at Guitar Center Fort Worth, and I was in a hurry because we had a show tonight and I didn't have them change the strings to my Elixir's. Guitar played amazing and sounded amazing like all my other 335's, but 6 songs into the show, the strings went dead. Need to replace them but I don't know what size strings came on it. Thanks.
