Description
In a tribute to his scorching riffs and remarkable stage presence, Gibson honors one of heavy metal's premier lead guitarists with the Zakk Wylde Signature Les Paul Electric Guitar. It features Wylde's trademark black-and-antique-white bull's-eye graphics; powerful EMG humbucking pickups (an 81 and 85); and an oiled, raw maple neck. The Les Paul body has a 1-piece mahogany back with carved maple top; an ebony fretboard with pearl block inlay; gold hardware including an engraved gold truss-rod cover with Zakk Wylde logo; multi-ply binding on top, back, neck, and peghead. A gorgeous guitar and capable of doing serious sonic damage. Gibson includes a hardshell case with the Custom Shop Zakk Wylde Les Paul Guitar.

This aged edition is an extreme rarity. One of only 50 to be made by the Gibson Custom Shop, it features every chip and dent you'd find on Zakk's legedary #1 Les Paul custom. Received as a graduation gift from his parents, the guitar was lost to him for years after being stolen. A fan discovered it in a Texas pawn shop and arranged it's return. Even the gold hardware is tarnished and pitted to look just like the original. You'll find it plays with the same power and tone as Zakk Wylde's amazing axe as well. A true collector's item.

All I can say is wow! this guitar shows Gibson at its finest. I've played it a couple of times, and loved even more every time. It is the top-of-the-line metal guitar. The EMGs give it incredilble crunch. The sound is soooooooooo heavy. The unfinished neck is great for soloing, the signature "bullseye" is so cool and unique. This guitar is perfect, if you have deep pockets, but in my opinion, its worth it.

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS GUITAR!! I find this guitar to be very solo-able, and able to create many different kinds of riffs. Metal(perfered), rock, jazz, blues, country, southern rock, this baby can play it all! I would have to say that there is literally no flaw in this guitar, unless you dislike the paint job. other than that, this guitar has everything. i would have to say that out of all the genres that this guitar can play, metal is the best for this guitar. this guitar is also great for soloing on. it has a great neck for transferring to different scales or frets. This guitar doesnt only look great, but it also plays great! I love this guitar!! !! XXJamesXX
