Gibson Custom John Sykes Les Paul Custom VOS Electric Guitar Ebony

The John Sykes Les Paul Custom VOS Electric Guitar re-creates Sykes number one instrument--a 1978 Les Paul Custom--and includes the modifications John has made to his instrument over his years of playing with Tygers of Pan Tang, Whitesnake, and Thin Lizzy.
The guitar is also available in an "aged" version which duplicates the wear and aging that John's guitar has undergone over the years. This VOS version has the more gentle aging that is characteristic of all VOS guitars.
Like all VOS (Vintage Original Spec) Series instruments, the John Sykes Les Paul Custom VOS is handcrafted for comfort and playability in the Gibson Custom Shop. The construction, neck profile, hardware, and electronics are period accurate, except for Sykes' modifications, and a special nitrocellulose finish treatment gives it the patina of a gently aged vintage guitar.
