Description

The SERIES 2 BA10-2 BASS ARRAY from Genzler Amplification blends the punch and quickness of a premium neodymium 10" woofer in a compact, vented bass reflex enclosure, along with the performance and pattern control of a proprietary line array element, utilizing 4x2" neodymium full-range drivers. With the BASS ARRAY design, the placement of the line array mounted in front of the 10" woofer provides extremely broad projection, quickness and articulation. Plus, the all-important mid and high frequencies have a much wider horizontal dispersion with a more controlled vertical pattern. The benefits of combining both design elements in an extremely compact cabinet are exponential for the player requiring a small, yet powerful enclosure.

The BA10-2-S2 still offers the same unique cabinet shape with an angled baffle (tilting up towards the player) and a single top/rear mounted, edge-lift handle for an easy grab and go solution. When stacking two cabinets they form a unique "arc" for increased dispersion.

    I've owned a Genzler BA12-3 and BA10-2 since they were first released. I purchased this Series 2 BA10-2 based on lower weight and wider frequency response compared to the earlier version. I use it alone and in combination with my other Genzler cabs. Like the earlier version, this little cab punches way above it's weight and is capable of covering small gigs. Add a second one, and it would cover most local gigs. It also has amazing dispersion due to the array of midrange/high frequency drivers. The angled front helps the player hear themselves better. The design addresses every need for a performing bassist. The Series 2 is lighter in weight than the earlier model and sounds flatter in response. It is amazing what this tiny cab can do. I have not played another cab in it's class that compares.
