This is a very good quality, well made case. The hinges and latches are properly aligned. It closes securely and completely. The interior lining is very nice and soft. The outside has a clean, neat appearance. This is probably the minimum size and weight case available (or possible) for a Thunderbird. It fits an Epiphone Thunderbird IV (bolt-on neck type) perfectly. I also used it with a Pro IV (through-body neck), and as the previous reviewer says, the body section is just a littler too deep for the Pro model. (Apparently the back of the body of the Pro model is not as deep as the base model.) I needed to put a folded piece of cloth under the body of the Pro to make it lay level in the case. (A soft T-shirt works great.) Otherwise, the neck will be tilted slightly upward, and when you close the case, the case will be level the neck out, and the weight of the body will apparently be supported by the neck when the case is laying flat. Still, I like this case better than the Epiphone case. It is smaller, lighter, and is better made than the Epiphone case that I had (and returned.)

Nothing good to say. Epi Classic IV Pro barely fits, lengthwise. The neck cradle sits too high and the cover won't close without noticeable resistance. The vinyl covering scratches and rips way too easily. Apparently these cases take the bolt-on neck Epi's just fine but there is no mention of that anywhere.
