It does the job. I am a working musician so I am always on the go. I need something lightweight so this fits perfectly for what I need. It has only one adjustment knob which at first bothered me but you will get use to it. Overall a good buy. #sweepstakes

I bought this stand because if its price point and light utility potential. My studio is pretty much set up for 5 granddaughters 12 and under and I needed a stand right away for one of their jams. This product fit the bill perfectly. Now they have at least 2 mics to work with. Thanks GC!
Very solid for a lightweight and compact mic stand

I use it with the boom angled up for a mic in front of my acoustic guitar while having a different mic/stand for vocals. I also used at a gig with my electric where I had the boom angled down for a mic in front of my guitar amp.
