Great fit for my Schecter CR6
This case is a perfect fit for my Schecter CR6! It doesn't slide inside the case from end to end or from side to side, in fact, it doesn't move at all. All of the latches work great. I have seen "rampies" throwing baggage to the ground from aircraft, and I hope that never happens to this case because it's not made for that. The case is plastic with styrofoam inside, so it would be stronger if it had thicker more durable (ABS) plastic on the sides or even wood like an old Gibson or Fender case. I like the large dual storage areas for accessories. I would have liked one of them to extend further into the headstock area to make it long enough to fit my flyrig in. Overall, it's a great design.

Great shell/latches with a few issues
⚠️ DO NOT ORDER FOR SCHECTERS ⚠️ I ordered this online for a Schecter C1 Platinum, but it arrived and my guitar didn't fit. The angle of Schecter headstocks is apparently too much for the not deep enough case. So when I layed my guitar inside the tip of the headstock hits the case bottom before the neck hits the cradle. This is compounded by the angles of your tuning pegs, especially the b/e, being on the tip. If they're oriented up/down they can hit or bottom out just before the headstock. The guitar should NOT rest on EITHER of these.. there should be no contact with the case and headstock/pegs, obviously. With the headstock holding up the guitar this way the neck barely touches down in the neck cradle at the nut end, whilst running even higher toward the body until there's at least a 1.5" gap at the body end of the neck cradle. Meaning ABSOLUTELY NO SUPPORT. Also the body compartment is flat with no angle of taper to match the body contours so there's also a considerable gap under most of the body Meaning basically when my guitar was in the case it was being supported on MAYBE a 1/2" wide strip of the neck nearest the nut and making no more contact again with the case until the last inch of the guitar near the bottom strap button. One would think the case was sagging or my guitar is straight as a recurve bow. Once I closed the case the right side of the valance wouldn't make contact cause the lid was hitting my bridge. The case would have to be forced shut the last 1/2" and put pressure on my guitar parts it is meant to protect While mostly a simple design flaw in dimensions perhaps. I do consider all the varying sizes and shapes of guitars and credit that difficulty to match every guitar with ONE case. HOWEVER, the interior liner feels as if it was glued to a styrofoam cooler and that is completely unacceptable. It's VERY RIGID. Perhaps if GATOR had used a softer foam maybe it would allow the guitar to "settle in" a bit and the fit would be fine(cont.)

This case fits my PRS SE 24 Custom perfectly. And, it's really high quality. The only issue is the smell on the inside. I know a lot of cases have this issue, but still... At this point I'm convincing myself that it smells like a nitro finish on a classic guitar. :)

Fits my Les Paul, Stratocaster, and Mustang well enough that it could be used for any of those models. Feels sturdy and has excellent latches. I wish the interior was something other than brown, but that's a minor issue and in reality looks fine with all of my instruments.
I have four of them no problems so far

Does this case fit Gibson Les Paul Standards and PRS S2 Custom 24 guitars?
Fit for Gibson Les Paul Standard: Yes The case is typically designed with a Les Paul-style body in mind, so it does fit a Gibson Les Paul Standard securely. Gator even lists Les Paul-style guitars as compatible in their specs for this case. Fit for PRS S2 Custom 24: Not Ideal The PRS S2 Custom 24 has: A slightly longer scale length (25" vs. 24.75" for the Les Paul). A thinner body contour, and A double-cutaway shape, which means it may not rest securely in a case molded for single-cut guitars. While it might physically fit (as in, you can close the case), it may not be well-supported, which can lead to neck or headstock stress during transport—especially for air travel or rough handling.submitteda month ago
